Despite political uncertainty and economic turmoil, experts believe that the outlook for retailing in Pakistan remains positive. At the same time, there are a lot of industry specific challenges such as lack of quality human resource and limited infrastructure which are slowing down the growth of the industry as a whole.

Microsoft and Mantaq Systems are organizing a round table discussion of retail business leaders to discuss and possibly flesh out solutions for the unique challenges that the industry faces. Some of the questions we would try to answer as a group would be

• What is the future of Retailing in Pakistan? Where are the opportunities for growth and improvement?
• Will the retail sector become more organized? What's holding it back?
• What are the top challenges of the retail as an industry?
• How can we resolve these issues together?

At the end of the discussion Mantaq Systems shall be sharing some of their own research on the retail industry and officially unveiling Microsoft AX for Retail in Pakistan.
